Ruchiq Sync is a utility companion application designed to help restaurant owners take back control of their orders and customers. It securely connects your physical device to your Ruchiq direct digital storefront. This Privacy Policy describes how Ruchiq ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Ruchiq Sync mobile application (the "App").
The primary purpose of Ruchiq Sync is to detect and automatically synchronize order and payment notifications (such as those from WhatsApp or UPI applications) with your secure Ruchiq Merchant Dashboard. This eliminates manual tracking and ensures your zero-commission digital storefront perfectly reflects your real-time operations.
The App requires "Notification Access" and "SMS Access" to function. This allows our proprietary Sentinel Matching engine to securely process localized, authorized payment confirmation signals to instantly approve your zero-commission direct orders.
Edge Filtering (Secure by Design): To protect your personal privacy, the App performs "Edge Filtering" locally on your device. Any message containing personal keywords—such as otp, password, salary, loan, emi, or yesterday—is instantly discarded and never leaves your phone. We only mirror and sync signals that match business payment patterns.
To ensure you never miss an order, the App runs as a Foreground Service. This allows the sync process to remain active even when the screen is off or the App is in the background. We request exemption from Battery Optimization to prevent the system from killing the sync process during peak hours.
We collect basic device information (Model, OS version) and create a unique "Device Token" to secure the link between your physical Android device and your Ruchiq Dashboard. This prevents unauthorized access to your order data.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties.Data is only transmitted to our secure Ruchiq cloud infrastructure (hosted in India) for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS (SSL/TLS).
Privacy-First Synchronization: Notification and SMS data are processed locally on the device (at the edge). Real-world payment signals are identified, while personal or non-business content is permanently excluded based on our mandatory Privacy Filter system. Only verified business payment signals are transmitted to the Ruchiq cloud.
Notification data is only held temporarily in memory for processing. Once an order is synced to the cloud, it follows the standard Ruchiq Data Retention policy. You can stop all data collection instantly by revoking "Notification Access" in Android settings or by Unlinking the device from your Ruchiq Dashboard.
This App complies with Google Play Software Distribution Agreement regarding the handling of User Data and Sensitive Permissions. We only request permissions necessary for the App's declared functionality and provide clear disclosure to the user before activation.
